In dire need of help: driveshaft blew out.

I need some serious help: I managed to get my jeep home to washington from CA, but just barely. The driveshaft let go as i was merging onto the 520 from the 5. I was able to put it in 4 and make it the rest of the way home, but i really dont think i am getting the driveshaft back. Is there anyone in the area who has, or knows someone who has, a driveshaft that will work with a 5spd and a chrysler 8.25 rear end? I still have the coupler that goes to the transmission.

I have called about 5 different salvage yards and everyone says the same thing: no. My only other hope is to get my corolla back this afterneoon from my friend and drive down the 520 to find my driveshaft....

Just wanted to let everyone here know that George of Georges Jeep is, in fact, one of the greatest people Ive met. He got me set up with a used driveshaft for the low low price of 40 bucks, with good u-joints. The jeep is back on the road again, and I really looking forward to meeting some of you guys and doing a little wheeling. Thanks for the reccomendations.

I got one a few weeks ago for the smae price but had one bad u-joint. He then got a new one out of his shop. Great guy and tons on parts. I never need a parts rig again :guitar: . Well maybe if the price was right:viking:
