By that logic you could ask me if I think you should be allowed to own guns, go to church on Sunday, or keep spelling your first name wrong.

Geff, I'm not sure how the point was missed, but to restate-I don't understand the logic of how one can be against executing convicted murderers yet supports murdering innocent, unborn, defenseless children?

I have to agree with Jeff. I fail to understand the logic of being opposed to the death penalty but supporting abortion.

Umpteen years ago when Gary Gilmore was executed by firing squad I thought it was one bullet and four blanks. Then with this latest firing squad it was reported the reverse. I just thought that the press got the facts incorrect.

The criminals that conduct heinious crimes have forfeited their right to walk among the civilized. I like the idea of finding an island somewhere and dropping them off like what happened to lepers last century. These criminals can create a Lord of the Flies society and prey on each other.

Certain crimes are just too much to deal with, we had some dad kill his wife, two kids and MiL, that kind of action should be a done deal and quickly, don't care if you are insane or not, some animals need to be put down, period.

sorry but i dont want my hard earned tax dollars to support convicted rapists and murderers. i say kill them all....and do it as cheap as possible. maybe they should be tortured like the victims and their families!

One of my dogs (luckily the little one) took a nip at my son's nose one day. It was a tough decision but he was put down. Couldn't trust him anymore. Same goes for criminals who have shown themselves to be a danger to society. You can't devalue a human life, but when the evidence is clear and the person has shown themselves unrepentant, they should be put down.

TX and TN have express lanes...if people witness you murdering another individual....you go straight to the front of the line. end of story. I do not believe that without a doubt convicted murderers need to sit and let things try to be appealed or anything else. convicted guilty of murder with multiple witnesses? march out back and let the deed be done.

I like this expedite process. Convict overpowers law enforcement officer, then takes his gun, shoots him once in the body and once in the head. Then attempts to kill another officer with his stolen vehicle and two civilians at the fast food joint.
