Improve your shackle angle

when i'm not lazy i'll post pics of my angles. went from around 10* forward to about 60*back. ended up with an extra 1.5 of lift

I finally got them in and hit the trails at Rausch Creek last weekend.

I was going to replace the supplied nuts with nylocks but found that they were too tall. So I ended up welding the brackets together.

Painted them up.

All installed with a set of Teraflex 1.5" lift shackles in the rear and ACOS up front.

I am super happy with the ride even though it is still not finished.

I needed to get it all installed so I could run with some Range Rover buddies at RC. So I didn't have the time to get longer shocks.

Rear leafs are begging for mercy. I am going to remove the shocks and most likly get a set of OMEs front and rear. I think the heavy duty shocks which work with their 3" lift kits should do.

I had a blast with the truck and it rides way better then my 93 with a budget boost.

My thoughts are I will have to adjust the front again once I get longer shocks in the rear and the stock springs return to their original bow.

Any advice/critiques on my setup? It would be appreciated.

It is actually flat because the lift sent the shock mounts lower then the stock shocks could reach. I am going to follow a friend's advice and decompress and compress my springs to see how long of a shock I need.

I have a pair of these and decided not to run them so they are for sale for $40....they have been modified a bit(had to cut the part that goes where factory hitch goes)
PM me.....

Replied, i jumped the gun on Hijack Statement.. The post was public so its open to all takers.. Third in line is not so bad.. NOT!!

Got my shackle boxes installed and they fit great. However I'm having a hell of a time trying to get my trailer hitch the line back up.

I went through that too. Eventually I got it lined up using a flat head screwdriver in the holes and wiggling it around to straighten up everything. Keep every bolt loose until all bolts are in, even the original shackle bolt on the side.

I am glad they are working out for the people ordering. We made a couple QC changes so there shouldn't be anymore bad parts shipped. For the couple of you that got a "bad" set I appologize.
