Important

Theres a chance, 1 in a million is still a chance.

That still doesn't mean it'll all get to you the first time, though.
Here's what I got the first go 'round:

I didn't do anything to this pallet, it was this fu*ked up when it arrived.
The tube was just sitting on top of it all.
Not to mention, it didn't even come to my house.
The local Ford dealership brought it to me.

Very nice time tonight Rev, sorry I was not quite up to par. It was a long hard day.

Took a while to track down Bek ... spent about an hour lookin' for her. I called and left her a message. I was half way home when she called me back on my cell and ask me to turn around. Of course, I did ...

Very nice evening.

Les

BTW: Terry ... I think that Jeep of yours is actually looking better ... despite what everyone else thinks. :)

I agree. Makes me want to run out and buy a Sawzall....

and practice on Jim's XJ.:D

I really do think it looks good. I'd like to do the same someday, I just haven't reached that point yet.

Thanks, I tend to agree.:)
Hardly anyone, outside of us XJ people, really know what to think about it.
I just measured, and when I'm done with this project, I will go from 64" at the widest point, to 50".
I only actually gain a 1/2" of clearance, 24.5" at the new rocker.
It will be much more nimble now, being just over four feet wide, as opposed to over five feet before.
I think I'm gonna be very happy with it.:D

you still need to reach the "I need 31's" point :D

Yeah well, come tax time.....new meats will be on the menu. Anybody want a set of used 30's? Even have a non-matching spare.

Can't decide on what size I want though. Remember, I'm running 4.10's and I am not regearing, can't afford that. Think 33's would be bad or should I stick with the 31's? I've got everyting i need to take it up to 4-4.5. The rear is actually sitting at 4.5 now after the s-10 packs....and no it dosen't look awful either. There is a noticable difference though.:D

Running the 30's hasn't been all bad. I think it helped me learn to drive better. Even I have been impressed with some of the places that thing has been on 30's. After all I did follow a YJ on 44's on the trail.
That is my story and I'm sticking to it.

totally go to 33's... with an auto it doesnt freeken matter...

you're on an upgraded rear axle locked on both ends...

playing with the kids and taking the steps through 31's isnt worth your time...

put your purse down and buy dem 33's!

just avoid dat Tree o Five!

I was leaning toward 33's. Being a DD, I think 31's would give me the best fuel economy though.
Maybe I'll go with some 2 speed axles while I'm at it.

;)
