Damn sissys!
Quit posting mindless one word posts!
If you are going to take up bandwith needlessly, put some thought into your post!
As I sit in front of my computer, I ponder what I should post. It should, according to our highest elected official, be more than one word and have thought and/or meaning. Here's what I came up with.

OK, Sean.

It's more than one word, and has meaning. Meaning being, it is a response to Seans post, therefore it has meaning IMHO. The only problem I may see is weather or not the phrase "OK" is actually considered a word. However, upon referencing Websters, it is defined as "all right, correct, surely". This leads me to believe that the phrase "OK" is actually considered a word. Therefore, my post should be within the limitations set forth in the before mentioned post by Sean R. I am glad I could be of assistance to help further our ongoing on-line meeting that never ceases. I encourage others to do the same and to abide by our two new rules.
Those rules are:
1. Posts must be more than one word.
2. Posts must have thought and/or meaning

TIA to all involved for following these guidelines.

You guys cannot imagine how hard it is to find a CB antenna in the city...

Stopped at 2 radio shacks and one best buy on the way home...

No dice...

I'd like to find and install one before TFT next weekend...

The handheld was pathetic with it's mini stick.

My CB needs Viagra

:D

There are two big truck stops that come to mind kind of close to you.
One is at the bishop ford @ 159th street and another on the Northwest toll @ U.S. 20, just past Randall road.
Neither of them are with in walking distance, but they are an easy 45 mins away.

I picked my ant. at a truck stop. The ant. itself was $8 and the mount was $12. Big spender I was. Works great for what I use it for.

I sure you probably didn't know the Kennedy actually became the Northwest Tollway. But if you take that out to the US 20 exit at Hampshire/Marengo. There are three truckstops there. Now I know for a Daley-ite, its pretty scary coming west of Elgin, but they have lots of antennas.

Thanks for the tips...

I'd love to drive 75+ miles from home at $3.20 per gallon at 8-10mpg...

Think I'll scope out a few parking lots with a crecent and a vise grip...

:D
