Well hell, no posts today (except Haleyes) ... how about I sum up my day today.
Cut a load of wood, split it (by hand) and corded out back ... went to my brothers (shot the shit for a bit) and borrowed the "legal" trailer. Went to a friend's and loaded the mower I loaned her for the summer ; visited (hound-dogged) her a bit then came home. My daughter (Bek) and a friend of her's were here, so I visited with them for a while (while listening to some Led Zepplin). After they left, I unloaded the mower, removed the mower deck to prepare it for trailer/splitter duty then hauled the mower deck up to the shed and put away for the winter.
Didn't get much done ... but it was a good day.

After 70% of the visiting relatives left this morning, I replaced the U-joints in the rear driveshaft on my Suburban, changed the T-case fluid, and did an oil & filter change. Then I changed the T-case fluid on Jen's XJ, as I had done an oil & filter change on Wednesday. I'm just about caught up on DD vehicle maintenance, the house is almost finished with regard to all the interior painting & decorating, and the exterior hardscaping projects are winding down for the season. Bottom line is that the odds are very promising that I'll have my MJ in wheelable shape for Winterfest.

Rain, and a new(to me) computer game wrecked my big project plans today.
So I watched another bizarre Bears win, shot the stuff with friends, and waited for someone to come over and pick up Jeep doors. Parting my junk is starting to get very frustrating.
The wife has been watching 'Flip this house' all day, and asked a bunch of questions about home equity loans today. I'm thinking I probably will be doing work on the house this spring rather than wheeling.

I seen today they have Super Tec Full Synthetic now. IIRC, it was $13 for 5qt jug. I had never seen it before. Sure beats $26 for Mobil 1, price wise anyway.
