My buddy Don is out here doing my drywall taping, finishing tomorrow. He's a gearhead, has an awesome lowered Chevy pickup, but has never really been off road.
Took him out on the Smasher Canyon jeep trail that kicked my ass last time, made it through but broke a main leaf part way through

He was impressed with how the jeep handled the slightly washed out forest service road leading to the trail, amazed at what it did on the trail, and amazed at how I Macgyvered the the jeep back together to get home

Someone talked off roading, in here? I miss having a Jeep, especially now that my oldest is old enough to go. My job wouldn’t allow me to go that much anyway with my current shift. I will get back into it, it just might be when my girls are teens and doing things with their parents “is not cool”.
