The auction game is a crap shoot. At times its felt like for every 6 cars we bought 3 where junk, 2 where in need of brakes and 1 great car in need of a vacuum. Other times we hit it big and pick up 10 cars a week and only 1 is no good and 9 need very little to no work. This time of year dealers are dumping cars for their end of year taxes, sometimes can find great deals but this year its been a dud on deals. Then there is the repos, about 60% are good with little repair work to sale after detailed with the other 40% pure junk/parts.
Yesterdays impound was a bust, car was stripped and left on the side of the road to get impounded, of course we couldnt look at the car vefore paying the fees. Win some, lose some and sometimes get fracked in the poo hole
