dad hasn't played monopoly with me since I was 8 years old and I won.

cause your buddy is an idiot that let the police call the wrecker, and then let them tow it to their yard.
Did he think they would just tow and store it for free?

No, but he tried that. You don't get the choice. If it is impeding traffic flow. They call it in and its impounded. You deal with it after the fact. You don't get to wait to have it towed by who and where you would like.

Hints why its rip off. Then again living in Detroit you get whats coming to you. Those people drive like crap.

We tow it as well if it's in the flow of traffic. If you can get it off the road and out of the way of traffic we will let you. I'll let you call your own tow and if you can't give me an eta, I'll call our tow company and whoever gets their first can tow it. Get it off the road. Our tow will let you pay them to tow it wherever tho, not just to the tow lot. Then you can avoid the storage fees.

We actually were told a couple weeks ago to try to help folks out with towing instead of always calling our tow company.

mac 'our tows have to be there faster than your delivered pizza...20 minutes or less' gyvr

Hate Impounds, but luckly we dont have those kind of impound issues. I like DMPDs impound process for lein holders like myself, but the man yard they use is a dirtball rip off scumbags. Small town/county impounds are the ones to watch out for as they do not deal with high volume of impounds so we lose cars all the time to 'missed' fourms.

Oh and yeah I've got a few 2dr doors and glass laying around for years, crush it and take pics.

That's good. I think the way Detroit handles it just puts a bad idea of the PD in there heads when they arare already having a bad time.

I was on the shoulder of 469 for about 45 minutes last night working on a trailer bearing/brake problem. Right under the sign that says no stopping or parking. No one seemed to mind. It was raining pretty good so I was prolly safe

Appreciate the offer.

I would have callled you mac but of course my phone died and I didn't take my charger. I figured if someone came to investigate I would have name dropped you for some assistance.

Hit or miss on dropping my name.

Dealing with my first frozen motor in a few years. Nephew didnt check freeze point on nice 2wd 'burban but now we have a boat anchor of a 2wd turd. This kid is learning but costing me.

I think the shock was bad.

Thinking so on the cracked block. The more I've looked and thought about it there might be a chance it blew head gaskets or intake, before we got it and the PO changed the oil and flushed the coolant to use stop leak before dumping it at the auction. Its a 99 2wd burb with 111k grandpa gold in color. Anything can happen in the used cars industry, lot of shady dealers. We try are best to stand out and above all that type of shadyness.

With that said, those shocks just need a fresh coat of paint

Well looks like the TJ is gonna be getting a new catalytic converter and exhaust system. Cat seems all plugged up on it. Looks like it's time to go shopping on Amazon again.
