Vacuum leak, fuel pressure regulator or IAC. Both Blazers I had would drop the idle low in reverse, if all the ignition components aren't up to par it will stall.
A general tune up may help also.

Checked fuel pressure, it's good. It's a pretty violent stall like the torque converter isn't unlocking. There's a solenoid that can be tested...in the valve body...messing around in the snow yesterday unless I was on the gas and off the brake it would die going into reverse.
May put it on jack stands and see if it dies in reverse with no load on it.

it will be fine. I unstuck a $25 garage sale Tmaxx and it runs fine.
pull the plug and fill the cylinder with wd40. Pull the carb and fill the crank up with wd40.
let it sit. It's probably not locked up mechanically, but had some fuel and stuff in it and it just turns to nasty gummy varnish. WD40 seems to eat it up pretty well, and it will burn off when you start it.
A crock pot full of antifreeze does wonders to clean them up. It will come out after 8 hours on hi looking like a brand new motor.
