Finally got this thing down the track last weekend.
This was the best pass of the day, all motor. It has a plate kit jetted for 200 shot that should take it to bottom 10s easily, possibly touch 9s if the stars align.

Anyone want a nitro RC buggy? Its an older OFNA LX one i need to get rid of or convert to brushless since i suck at tuning nitro engines
I bought a nitro 1/8th scale buggy a few years ago.
because I wanted to smell glow fuel and hear a nitro motor to re live my childhood.
it has reminded me every day since why I like lipos and brushless motors.
i nearly bought an LX2e when I bought this thing, but I was lured in by a $160 ARTR price tag.
it's got an SH .21 on it that shouldn't be hard to tune, but it's a bastard.
I've sealed the carb every way possible, teflon tape on the needles and idle stop screw, new o rings, o rings added to the banjo fitting.
It's just a bastard.
and this is why it sat in my basement for the last year.
when it runs it's fun, but that's about 1/5 the times I try to play with it.

yep.
the chassis is good and stout.
It's the same as the basher sabretooth/acme warrior.
If I can't get this thing to run consistently I'm going to convert it to brushless or just buy a sabretooth and have a full chassis and box full of spare parts.

nothing like buying a jetski in the winter.....going in the morning to check one out that needs a computer board. For $250 I'll gamble on it. I can get the parts for under $300 shipped.

Waiting to hear back on a appointment for an orthopedic Dr to find out what options i have on my hip/back. MRI showed a pinched nerve at L5. Almost 3 weeks with little change in pain and only able to do light duty work, i can only handle so much paper work sitting around with idle hands. Tempted to dig out the old RCs or just buy a new one.

Ive looked for a motor plate but cant find any, the only one i saw was discontinued. So id rather trade it off/sell it than have it sit

cause he can tell you all about them. he worked at a marine shop rebuilding jetskis for 2 years.
