Last day of work here...still waiting for my promised hunting trip for my father and I after the Canada fiasco. I guess its probably not going to happen lol. I won't miss the empty promises, but I'll miss the other people that work here. Its the first time I've worked somewhere that 85% of the employees are within 3 years of my age...so its at least been enjoyable. They are already talking about budget tightening again though, so I'm hoping none of my friends here have to absorb a 10% pay cut and layoffs like last year....

Off to Des Moines to get more lake house supplies. It's almost fun seeing how tight I can be on this budget and get a good looking place for way cheap. Bought doors yesterday off a guy that bought new doors and painted them just to realize they were a bit different from the others in his place. Got them for 75% off new. Also have all the new flooring bought. Looking for a complete appliance set too......
