found out that a jeep friend from des moines lost his 8 year old daughter yesterday. not someone i'm very close to by any means, but pretty damn heartbreaking. sounds like it was pretty sudden, so i'm not sure if it was an illness or an accident. i just can't even fathom how terrible that would be.

I finished up another Cheeseman fab winch bumper last night for a local guy...I realize now that I just don't like working on other peoples shit. This rig had 200# of mud under it. He wanted sliders installed too, I saw the mud and declined the job. I'm not hungry for work, let alone having mud fall in my face. I parked the jeep w/ new bumper installed out side of the shop for pick up...and placed his sliders next to it :D

I see he got the rear end swapped out. What broke now on it? That stock motor putting out to many horses.

Yeah, I know I could just fill it with thick stuff but would really like to permanently fix it.

I run rotella as regular oil, not a fix. It's a tractor engine, it needs to be treated like one.

The final fix is a saturday with a low mileage engine and your choice of beverage. But that's not required until there's a rod sticking out of the block.

I used to run rotella 10-30. It is my DD so I'd rather have something ready to go for when a rod does go through the block.

I jusy got some BDS QD sway bar links i need to shorten. Its a 1/2-20 thread. Any advice on what kind of die to buy? Im guessing just throwing them on a vice and running down the die with oil, but figured id ask you bums first for advice

seanR would really like a Cheesefab custom bumper for the front of the Fftreefiddy.

He could bring the steel, he has a hook up with a hot metal bitch.

Just sayin.

I run 15-40 year round and have done so for 7 or 8 years in all the 4 liters that have passed through my hands.

it works and it's cheap.
