I don't even go into what my screwed up hours are having the farm.....we are calving right now, so up every 2 hours to check on heifers if needed, and we try and take turns so we can get a little sleep so we can go to our day jobs and function without being zombies. It just comes with the territory, I enjoy the life it provides, so I don't bitch about it...too much.

I like the old cows, they can just be walking, stop and plop out a calf, then carry on with their day.....kind of like that Duggar mom from 378 kids and counting. :farmer:

I was at the dentist yesterday and although I had never met this lady before, she decided to go into full detail about her brother calving. I thought it was strange. Several times I just wanted to tell her I didn't care about her brothers job
