Important

New welder showed up today...Can't wait to use it but I'm so damn busy right now I didn't even have time to take it out of the box.

I want to get a decent auto darkening helmet that isn't crazy expensive. Any recommendations. I have a Harbor Freight cheapie auto darkening, but it not very sturdy any more...would love to have something a little better.

I use a Hobart auto that I got a TSC at home and a Jackson that I got at my welding store that I use at work. I really like both of them but the Jackson is slightly better. if I had the money id get a save phace helmet though.

Plow blade on front of "lawn tractor" is the bomb. did my driveway in half hour vs 2 hours to shovel it. Probably would have been ten minutes if driveway was flat.

I picked up an 11' wide Flink plow off a state auction, my thoughts were to get it adapted to a quick attach plate for my skidsteer. Did not happen, so now I have a nice piece of shit sitting next to the shop collecting rust...and snow. Maybe I should drag it in the shop this weekend and work on it. The skidsteer can easily lift it, but its the snow volume that will build up to a point the skidder wont keep traction. think I will cut it to about 7-8' wide and cut a good foot off the top. It is what you see on the highway dept trucks..its big.

Camille wont hurt her back shoveling this year if I can get this done :D

I used my snow blower yesterday for the first time all winter...didn't do much good but at least I ran last years gas out of it.

I am on my second harbor freight helmet. It works great, I got 10 years out of the first one. Just don't weld that often to justify big money helmet.

I had an 2000 s80 t6, was a fun, Nice car. Sold it due to now being awd and the TB was taking a crap and that years was a very high dollar's fix.

On a different note. My buddy Tyler Menninga is driving Blue Thunder, youngest driver in Monster Jam history is going to Vegas for the World Finals March 17-19. So it looks like all my out of state wheeling trips wont happen. Very proud of him, was in the stands with his dad for his first event a few weekends back in Council Bluffs that he won. Been wheeling with both his da Chris and Tyler for over 10yrs now and to see him living his dream and making the old timmers in the industry take notice is awesome!

why? Why am I looking at more eurotrash?

because 5 speed turbocharged AWD is fun.
I have real issues.

The S60R was pretty nice when they came out not sure I would be looking at a high mileage example. My buddy bought one new in 2004. I think they were pretty decent power wise 300hp/300ftlbs (evo and STI numbers) They are pretty expensive to modify and to fix.

I should probably drop a new motor on snowthrower this weekend.

i've got about 4 hours on mine now...time to change the oil now that the break in is over. Running pretty flawlessly. Started hard once, but it runs pretty well even in the cold. I do think I'm going to upgrade the jets and the E tubes after this winter. There are a few occasions where its felt like it could use a little more fuel...still has a TON more power than the tired old motor that was on there.

its also nice having one that pulls super easy and starts every time

So I got my seats in. Hard to get out of but seem like theyre gonna save my back as far as comfort. Now how the heck do i mount the seat belts? Ill be using stock, im assuming they bolt on to the factory bracket but with family in town my Torx sockets magically disappeared with their rearranging my life

Next potential trade for the vette.
