I just ordered front fenders, flares, LEDs, and a relay from Metalcloak for the LJ...

I don't know the answer to that question.

They said 1-3 weeks to be shipped out.

That's a long time to wait for parts.

Must be a part that they weld up when you call.

I'm always a model behind on the popular stuff.

mac 'I'd bet JK stuff is in stock' gyvr

The JK ones are the flat billers...

mac 'LJ is the XJ you always wanted' gyvr

Yeah, I'm not trading for a beemer.

I am working on this deal tho. Give T something new to drive.

My ECGS order should arrive tomorrow...
I don't know if the setup will be under the jeep or not.
I should have started the most recent mods a lot earlier

New welder showed up today...Can't wait to use it but I'm so damn busy right now I didn't even have time to take it out of the box.

I want to get a decent auto darkening helmet that isn't crazy expensive. Any recommendations. I have a Harbor Freight cheapie auto darkening, but it not very sturdy any more...would love to have something a little better.

I had an HFT one but wasn't very confident in it, seemed like I couldn't trust it to darken quick enough depending on the situation. I gave it away some time ago. I picked up a Miller Pro Hobby helmet, as I recall it wasn't a bunch more than the HFT one, has grind/weld modes, delay and darkness settings. I want to say it was $60-70 but that was a few years ago. I decided eyesight wasn't something worth being cheap on.

I have a Miller 211 and love it, I think you'll be very happy with the new welder. I run off 240v whenever possible but I've done a few projects on 120v and it did well. Probably my biggest problem is not turning it up enough because I'm always afraid of burning through something.

I agree 100% w Brad, my eyesight is worth the extra money. I used cheap ones at first, but just broke down n bought a Miller pro series n have never looked back. It was @$250 iirc at the time, but that was 7-8 yrs ago. I picked up a couple nice Hobart ones on clearance a few years back, they were $200 helmets n I got them for $39 each. Gave one to Case n JR took the other one.

Oh, good early morning gang.
