Apparently my boss thought I was going to work today and the rest of this week. NOT, I have personal days, my wife is days (or shorter) from giving birth to our daughter, I am not going to work if I have days i can use. I did try to make it known that I was going to use the remainder of my vacation and personal days and not work the holidays either a month or so before I left. If he wasn't almost constantly not in his office when I get there and am free, maybe this would have been clearer.

Maybe if you can sell/trade that bike on your way back home and not worry about the hassle of selling it at home. Run the VIN before you get it to make sure it is what the guy says it is. Few weeks back i saw a similar one go for $700 at the auction, but dealer autions are not a good resource for real world pricing. Sharp looking bike nonetheless.

Like Brian said, thats a no call no show in my book. The only difference at my work is that kind of stuff earns you a salary position with an office. :explosion
 
I've been thinking of no call no showing my job but the wife says that's not a good idea.

Speaking of Old ladies been being a real mean one lately. Seems to think that doing dishes and cleaning the house is WAAAYYYY harder than paying the bills, working 10+hours a day, maintaining the house and vehicles and still helping out with children in the evening.

Right, no doubt.

I understand it's a two way street. But she said she is going to quit doing everything she does. So I'm going to go home and do it all plus what I do and record how long it actually takes.

I also told her that I will just quit going to work, and quit paying the mortgage, gas, electric, cell phone, and cable bills and see if that is acceptable.

I can't actually do it, I don't have it in me LOL.
 
My wife works just as much and hard as I do, so we have always split things down the middle. When I was not working for 4 months I did it all, including caring for the kid.
