Important

I need a GoPro in the Tracker....was chasing cattle last night and plowed one from behind....splattered shit all over the front of the Tracker. PETA, eat your heart out.

Moral of the story, when hugs and kisses, a bucket of feed and sweet talking does not coax the animal where you want it, ram it with a vehicle.

How is U.S. 36 across Missouri?
I am thinking about taking that to K.C. then down to Texas later this month.
Is is a good road, all four lane and at least 65 MPH speed limit?

Its a good road, lots of it is new and 4 lane. There may be a small stretch east of Hannibal that is still 2 lane, but the 4 lane is the majority and it is 65. I just ran from Macon to Cameron (where you get on 35 to go to KC) last week and and the camper on and ran 70.

What a lovely morning, got a call from Liberty Mutual (the insurance company of the car that hit me) saying they accept 90% liability from the accident but I have to pay 10%. Sorry, no, not going to accept it because I was in the left lane and she was in the right lane. She turned left to either merge into my lane or onto a intersecting street. Called my insurance company and started the claim and going to let them fight it out. I probably should have to start but I figured it was a clear cut case of fault and there was no way I was in any way liable. Guess I was wrong. At least on the local level the people in the office for my insurance says there should be no liability on my end.

Of course you were at fault for occupying the space that their customer wanted to be in. How dare you use the same road!

Games insurance companies play. What's that, your neck hurts all the sudden? :D

10% liability on your part?

This is what The General tried telling my wife when she got tboned by the drunk leaving the boat ramp. State Farms answer was " you owe nothing and are not responsible at all, we will address it"

Your insurance works differently in Indiana that it does here in Michigan. Here, our insurance covers our cars, fault is what is used to determine what your deductible is.

Sounds like it is the insurance companies first line of trying to get out of paying what they are responsible for. I would imagine there are many people that accept that they have to pay 10% and just MoveOn.

your insurance is dumb, because your state is dumb.

Even with my wife trying to empty the local wildlife habitat on her own, we have never had a single issue with SF claims. They pay what they are supposed to pay when they are supposed to pay it. They bought new car seats when our van got totalled, and the twins weren't in them. I still pay less in premiums than alot of people with the TV insurance companies.

Agree on all counts. They picked me up after I rolled my jeep in 01 and no other company has been able to match the premiums I pay.

State farm is a great company, but I've never had issues with GEICO either. When my xj fell apart on the highway last year and I hit the lady in front of me I spoke with my insurance once and never heard from them again...my premiums are the same. It was also my first accident ever with them

we has the state farm.

it's 10% more than other places, even after our house/two car multi super discount.

whatever, I call, things get fixored.

and no, MI is dumberer than Ohio.

it's got to be accurate because the south and california are the dumbest.

I insured my fingers for $500,000 each due to doing the hand photo shoots....now I'm going to lop off a finger a year as part of my retirement plan.
