Is it premeditated if i post on here, i haven't taken my long acting insulin since Wednesday because my doctor wont approve the refill. i have tried calling over and over again and cant get an actual human to answer the phone. luckily one of the scheduling people told me they had a person drop an appointment at 4:15 so i snagged it up. im not sure what i might get in trouble for when i talk to them...

I just changed family doctors because my doctor's office of 25 years couldn't be bothered to answer the dang phone or return phone calls.

Driving to work on a one way street in the left lane, the car beside me in the right lane decided to turn left onto the cross street. Had plastic and metal rubbing front right tire so it had to be towed. Calling her insurance company tonight so I can get a rental tomorrow. Glad the Jeep is at home so I can still get around.

The damage done to the lady that turned into my lane on a one way street (I was in the left lane, she was in the right).

I think this smash hole bulb is done.

The crappy part is that I have to pay for a rental until her insurance company admits fault (then they will reimburse if they admit fault). If they don't admit fault, I got a witness who seen the whole thing. I doubt it is totaled, but wouldn't be sad if it is.

TH, what year and how many miles are on your accord?

Looks like a total from here, especially with the radiator popped, but year and miles will be the judge. Hard to tell, but there might be some slight RF suspension damage. Any air bag deployment?

Generally anything over 8 years old and 125,000+ and that kind of damage will be a total.

Glad no one was injured.

2009 64k, it was my washer fluid bottle that got destroyed I believe (I think the radiator is still good). It books from 9-12k. If it wasn't for a bit of metal pushing plastic onto the front right tire, it would still be able to be driven.

Been looking at other comp's, tough to tell. If no air bag deployment, and it's still a somewhat driver, then it probably won't be a total. It's hard to tell what's underneath the damage.

It's borderline though. Honestly it depends how the body shop manager and insurance adjuster look at it. Shop A might be swamped with big jobs and he totals it out, while shop B might be slow and wants a job like that and writes accordingly.

In any case, get more than one estimate and don't be pushed by insurances 'preferred' shop. Go with who you want to go with.

Is that your basement or the one you are getting the pool table from?

Either way, you'll have the basement and Sam will have the back yard.

If they total it, I will gladly accept it. It sucks in snow in 5" and I would prefer an AWD SUV now. I just can't justify a car payment again unless I absolutely had it. It isn't able to be driven now so it was towed to a tow yard. An insurance adjuster is going to have to look at it. Hopefully their insurance company accepts it was the other drivers fault (since you know if you are in the right lane of a two lane road when I am in the left lane, and you turn left, it is your fault). Until they assign fault, I am driving the Jeep. Then when they (hopefully) put fault on the other driver, I will get a rental.

If it is totaled, this is tempting being certified pre owned and only 21k on it.

My wife has a 09 Rogue and I hate the seats in it, but they have redid the whole car since that model generation. The only thing it doesn't have that my car has is a sunroof. That isn't 100% needed.

That's mine. Here is the closest picture of how I got it. Didn't take one before smashing dry wall.

7 man crew for recovery???? Sounds more like the typical DOT crew scenario! That's just stupid all the way around....12 hour recovery???? I've seen rigs with the axle ripped out get recovered by derelicts in the woods faster than 12 hours using straps, chains and a dildo.....

If the kid had full coverage he should have just said it was stolen....OK, maybe not the most honest way to go about things :D

I hope he was getting a handy from his gf when this occurred!

Good morning jeep fans!

TH depending on the body shop manager, if you mention that you wouldn't mind if it's a total they may swing it that way if it's really close.

I seen cars that people were really upset and wanted to keep so manager was able to swing a fix. And cars that customers just wanted to get out of and manager pushed into total. All as long as it's really close.

I am thinking about hiring a few derelicts to do this full time. We wouldn't make as much because the job wouldn't take that long.....

He got screwed because he was trespassing.
