It wasn't an ecoboost, but I drove a v8 version 2015 crew cab for three days. The leg room in the back for adults was pretty freaking amazing for a crew cab truck. I drove the whole time and even with my seat back far enough for me to be comfortable, it had enough room in the back for three adults with leg room. I haven't been a big ford fan, but the comfort level sold me on one if I ever get a pick up truck.
 
Daily driver. something that can haul crap back from Menards. tow the camper or jeep every once in a while.

im looking to replace the jeep in its DD duty, i want a truck and the wife wants me to get a little car. she is smarter than me but i don't like little cars.

I love my the tuned LMM Duramax.

Smiles per mile are great, I don't put on enough miles on any of my vehicles to worry about MPG. Road trips are the only time I pay attention to it...

i showed the wife that yesterday. saw it posted on facebook, we looked at a couple GTI's that were pretty beat up. i probably cant work you down to 4k on that :D
 
Everybody is gonna say that you need a diesel when your towing your jeep or campers. Yes it makes it easier towing but if you only tow a couple times a year the cost of the diesel normally doesn't outweigh the cost of them. I wish our ex had a diesel in it but am just as happy with the gas guzzling v10

Yep. I wanted a diesel Excursion when we bought the Yukon, but they are made of gold. The Yukon gets the job done with a tuned 6.0, and I will live with 8 MPG pulling the camper because the payment is way lower than a diesel anything. Now that we can't all fit in a pickup (unless it has bench seats) I will keep buying Yukon/Suburban 2500s. Maybe with the 8.1 next time though, camper is heavy...

I looked at two the other day. 07 with 40k on the ticker that they wanted $20k for, and an 04 6.0ltr quadrasteer with 122k. I don't know what they wanted for the 04, but the 07 was stupid clean.

It seems like the 07+ body style 2500s are holding their value very well. I will probably have to drive this '00 for several years before I can afford one. The Quadrasteer SUVs are pretty rare, I would have bought one if I could find one. I looked at a Quadrasteer pickup, it felt weird whipping turns tighter than my Charger in a full size truck.

You know you are getting old when putting wheel covers on your RV makes you happy.

And old guy on an RV forum gave me the covers because he was switching to a different style.

Went to pick up a pool table yesterday. got the pool table, 4 bar stools, a wall mount pub table, and all the pool accessory's for 500 bucks. the guy bought it all brand new in 08 and barely ever played,there was some receipts that added up to just about 3000. I'll snap a couple pics tonight when its all together.
