Received 2 calls from my credit card companies within 15 minutes of each other that there were repeated attempts to make multiple purchases repetitively. Said it was an online adult sites and purchases...hell, if I was doing that I would hope I was getting action! One of them looked back and there was a purchase made 19 months ago through the same thing...it was not caught then but the cc company just refunded the money to my account. I've dealt with fraudulent transactions before, but this hit like a whirlwind today. I deleted my old email that was tied to those cards over 3 years ago, but the hackers are tying that email to purchases....its a mess. Now all cards are cancelled and that email account has been requested cancelled though MS. Hopefully they will get it cleaned up.
