Important

so new DD settled.

we'll just get another XJ.
So I'm on the hunt for the unicorn.
A clean rust free, lower mileage 99.

we'll swap the locked 8.25 and tires to it and she can roll on.

Ran over a construction crew's nail on the bike yesterday. Made it home and heard hissing when I got off.

Red '$333 for 2 tires' heep

I think I got a flat spot on my bikes front tire, it has a vibration at higher speeds. I locked up the front tire one day. Just wanting to get through this year without much more money spent on it.

I thought this was hilarious, until I realized my Winterfest swag was probably in there :passgas:  :puke:

Knew I shoulda got that stuff from you before you had to move it...

Give me a call when ya get settled in.

your swag is safe. its sitting at work, far from any natural gasses :D

i have a kit to brew sitting somewhere, i want to get it done so once i get the bar all finished i have something to drink in it.

Not to sure what LinkedIn is but I started up an account. I'm gathering that's it's a more professional social media site that may help in my job search.

Other than that, search and search and search. Nothing yet but I'm not freaking out. Aug 1st was my stop looking for a particular job and start looking for any job cut off. Think I may contact a temp agency and lower my standards for a job. Also my hit up my buddy about a job he said could be available.

For now I like to take care of problems before they arrive. So rather than not being able to pay some bills in a few months, I think I'll just get rid of phones and TV now.

You locked up the front tire on a cruiser hard enough to flat spot it?

Not sure if I did or it is something else. I have taken that class (it is no longer offered locally) and this happened within the first few days of riding a bike again in years. Haven't had an issue since. A car was parallel parking and I did see the turn signal but thought it was for the road ahead (plus had a car beside me I was trying to watch out for), the brakes on this bike I have now are a little more touchy then other bikes I have ridden. I have ridden hundreds of miles since with no issue.

no rust for me.

Josh questions why we don't just make the 01 nice again, but it has the cancer.

It's gonna make it one more winter, then the hunt for a rust free one gets real next spring.

I'm pretty sure i've located the evap issue.
looks like I'm dropping the tank this weekend.
Should be a good time pulling the bumper, skid, and then breaking the tank straps.

Hate ordering from a great company thats always on top of shipping and notifications that drops the ball. Wont name names(shit happens) but i think 3 business days is more then long enough to let me know if my order is being processed and shipped or if parts are backordered.

I just dealt with a company that left my order processing for two weeks. I started calling everyday for four more days. On the fourth day I threatened to cancel the order via paypal and magically they called me back right away. Told me they had ran out of stock and were ordering more in to make the part I bought...and hadn't had time to call me back. I finally got the part 20 days after I ordered it.

Says the guy that bought a EX from Michigan. LOL

Heh, I know...but I'm not telling people to go see Josh to get rust free stuff.

mac 'do what I say not what I do ;) 'gyvr

I'm not sure, but there's definitely a leak on the top of the tank.
I've never dropped a late model, so I don't even know WTF is up there.

are there vents and grommets like old school or does it all go through the sender?

It's kind of boring looking through the classifieds down here. This one took 5 minutes.

dat's nice.

I'd like to find one just like it but with something closer to 100K miles.
