Small things get handed off to the post office. You'll see them on Saturdays.

Big things have always been 2 business days. If you pay for $3.99 overnight on a Friday, FedEx will deliver on Saturday.

Lots of times I've ordered stuff on Friday and it shows up on Monday, but if they guarantee it they have to deal with the bitching when it shows up on Tuesday.
 
When I got married, the tux wasn't bad (I wanted to just buy a suit but I still want to lose weight and hate to have a suit I can't wear). The shoes the tux came with was horrible. After the photos, the shoes came off and didn't go back on.

sales tax was known about far in advance.

they opened a warehouse in ohio, so now they are doing business here, so now the tax man wants their cut.

we ordered our big ticket items before the sales tax hit.
the UPS guy hates me. He delivered a carpet cleaner and an air conditioner in the same week.
 
so i was supposed to have a birthday bash at my parents river house but its under water. finally someone went down and took a pic. the party was going to be held to the right of the red house. my parents main house is the one on the left but they own both. normally the river front is about a 4 foot drop from the front of the houses its probably 3-4 feet above that now...

It didn't. I ordered something earlier. One item is coming Sunday. The next on Tuesday.

Weird. I ordered a Yukon crush sleeve eliminator and it said that it will be here Tuesday. I just went back and looked the same item and it says guaranteed by the 21st. So I ordered it again for the real two day shipping and cancelled the previous order that was two business days guaranteed Tuesday.
 
Surgery on my broken ankle today, I am now the proud owner of a titanium plate and seven screws in my fibula. No walking for ~4 weeks, which puts me out of the Crawl.
 
Turns out the rear brake line I thought the ex needed was the old one they left when they put a new one on...lol

Bad news is the hitch is ****ed with rust...going to need a new one.
