so...seriously how bad does fed ex suck?

sold something on ebay to an international seller who bought domestically using the "ebay international shipping program" or whatever its called. basically, you ship the item for your regular shipping price to a shipping center in the US and it gets sent out to the buyer from there. guy wins the auction, and my only options are usps and fedex and due to the size of the box i ship fed ex...i took a box from work that had "111 main street) written on the side in faded marker. the only other label on the box was the shipping label i printed from ebay. i drop it off at officemax since its the only fedex dropoff in town.

yesterday, the package showed up at my office...i checked the tracking and it says it went through a distribution center in PA and is "in transit". i tried calling customer service, but they said its still in transit, so they don't know where it is...even though i told them it was at my office and they should probably come get it.

seriously?

Almost three years ago we had Russ Moore Transmission do the trans in the 5.9. They had a sale then for $900 cash and carry or $1200 they do it all.

I let them do it all.

We have over 15k on it and its still holding up.

It even was shifting funny once, took it in they scanned it for free and told me to get a tps. I did, it fixed the problem.

Going to have a "fest" this summer, probably late July or August. Depending when the deck and trap range get done.
There will be at least two electric RV spots and unlimited tent sites. Stay tuned for details.

keep forgetting that we are driving to iowa this weekend...will be passing through PA, OH, IN, and IL...probably will be hitting the middle of ohio around lunch and the west side of IN for dinner on the way out. we will be driving a rental so if anyone needs anything on the parts train it will have to be small lol.
What way are you coming through?

Anyone know of a good shop for trans work? Looking to get a 46re rebuilt

Mine was done by FirePunk diesel in Marysville, OH. It's good up to 700 HP now.
Justin and Jim had their dodge tow rig transmissions done there too.

I use fedex for everything larger than a flat rate box at usps. They have lost only about 5 items in 8 yrs of shipping.

You have got to make sure there is only one addy on the box, that is confusing

I highly recommend Firepunk. Quite a few of my passengers comment on how firmly the trans shifts compared to their own trucks with stock rebuilds. Plus Firepunk will rebuild and install the trans in a day. Works out great for people who do not live close by their shop.

well again there was only one label...the thing that seems really messed up to me is that the box was shipped from lakewood ny (there is a 111 main street in lakewood) and went to a distribution center in a town in PA (where there is also a 111 main street). i work in jamestown ny and thats where the box ended up. i cant find anything else that has a city or zip on it on the box. it literally just says 111 Main Street...the oddest thing is that it still says "in transit" in all the computers.
