This is my guess.
in the last several months i have sent about 30 companies my resume. not one of them i called. i figured if they like me they would have called.
1 of them called for an interview 1 of them sent an email saying i was under-qualified.
that being said, i do have a letter to whomever looks at the resume, stating they should call me to schedule the best time to meet in person(more gooder worded of coarse)

Though all info you have been given has been decent I only agree with HO Bag. You should call and e-mail the day after an interview or the receipt of your resume. If you only mailed your resume, call and make sure they received it and explain you would really like the opportunity to meet face to face. If you had an interview you should call and explain again that you feel you would be a great fit with their team and was wondering if they had any more questions for you. Then thank them again for the time they gave you.

I typed up an email today but didn't want to send it. In fear of being an annoyance.
I originally sent resume via their website to HR. And then I contacted the Head of this area (got his info from one of the old employees that is still good friends with him), and he ask me for my resume also so I sent it to him as well.
The job has only been posted for 23 days now. But has no expire date, This is my first time ever putting a resume in for another job. So I'm anxious.

I might do that. I did it with my grandma who has done alot of them as well. I only have had one job. But have had a lot of different responsibilities here so I just listed all the different positions I held.
