one of my big issues with ever owning or working in a bar/restaurant is that the only time you can make good money is working the hours that every one else is off.

I told you when you asked me that there was no way to predict the weather in March.
One year we were in Myrtle for a car show and it was almost 90. Last year I cancelled work for 2 days because of snow.

No, you need to be working every hour it is open or they steal from you. They give their friends free drinks, "forget" to open the cash drawer, or sometimes just reach in and take money.
When we opened ours, it was supposed to be a small place that the four of us could run almost alone, with very few if any employees.
I sent by bro-in-law to look for a place. Long story short, I sold two houses, and two vehicles for cash, and he maxed out three credit cards for his input. We all ended living off of the money I had saved to support my family, he was not honest about how much money he had saved. Then he started paying himself a handsome salary with the money I had put into the business account.
Needles to say it was doomed from the start. It was an expensive lesson.
One that cost more than two years at Harvard.

Yes, but it will be above freezing, at least during the day, there will be no muddy frozen puddles. There will be sand and sea, we can sleep in, stay up late, drink in the morning, and, the most important thing is, it will be away form my wife's stupid job that she complains about 24 hours a day.
