Still on vacation today so it is to me. Going to downtown Nashville for jacks bbq and then to the big mall down here so my wife can get lost in bed, bath, and beyond with a credit card that has a lot of room before reaches max. I will head to bass pro shop and Lego store.

stock XJ still has a vibe. Way better than before, but still there.
Thinking the splines in the slip yoke are probably sloppy since it ran wobbly for who knows how long.
I'll swap it out weds so it's ready for trip to John's. Good thing I got all these random XJ driveshafts laying about.
it still seemed a bit short, so I suspect maybe it's an auto shaft. Whos got the list of measurements handy?

yeah, I need the rear.
I suspect that someone wasted the factory shaft and they chucked an auto shaft in it.
it just looks like it's an inch short.
5sp/auto fronts are about an inch different, so that's a good possibility.
I've got factory auto shafts here, I'll have to measure them and compare to the one under there.
garage floor was all wet yesterday from the melting snow, so I didn't feel like crawling under there.

I don't think I could enjoy Vegas. I don't care for busy heavily populated areas. I rather be in the mountains with beer or the beach with rum or even a quarry with whatever is being passed around
