You can get two high back car seats in the middle seat and still have a bit of space in there. I'm not sure you would fit two highbacks and a rear facing in there though.
 
i dig the expedition. excursions are a little to big to DD for me. i wish i had a third vehicle right now.
 
That's why the third row is a necessity.

Hence the reason, I said check out the third row entry method. My first gen kinda sucks to do it to help a kid buckle into a car seat.

Look at the rear control arms.. craptastic design and they hold crud and rust.
 
Anyone else have problems with Tom woods u joints? For all the praise they give themselves this one broke way too easy. Second time out.

it's beater XJ work day!

one coil spacer left and it's back to stock height. Did the rear in 35 minutes. One coil spring has taken me an hour and a half.

hate coil spring compressors.

I usually twisted shafts, ujoints were still good.

A break like that might be a result of axle wrap or not enough compression. If the shaft is relatively new he might just send you a replacement joint.

I normally just spin the tube in half. Same measurements as the last two shafts so compression isn't an issue. I would not doubt axle wrap. I need to put the overload back in the OME packs to gain height back for the 35s anyway so it's worth a shot.

I'd almost rather put spicers in it instead of another gold seal.
