My garage is bigger and better insulated than my house. Last night the temperatures got down to 7° here, I got home and the garage was still 45° with no heat running .

During the summer our electric bill is crazy, we run a dehumidifier in the basement nonstop as well as two sump pumps and our pond waterfall. In the winter we just have heat and basic electricity. T always knows when I'm welding though

You could run a central air for cheaper than that dehumidifier...

My garage rarely gets below 50 without the heat turned on. It's insulated like mad as well. The rafters are 16 on center, its built like a house.

1924 kWh last billing cycle for us. All electric home, bill was $223. I have been using the fireplace during the day to keep the furnace from running. Hard to heat a modular home with cathedral style ceilings. That plus 5 people showering every day using up hot water.

Sorry to hear that. It not uncommon to lose a first pregnancy like that, especially within the first trimester

Sorry to hear that, Adam. We just recently lost a grandbaby. It's not easy, but it's the will of nature.

Sorry to hear TH! We have had almost no issues with ours, but it still scares the crap out of me. Don't let it get you down, God has a plan for you two and isn't going to hand you anything that he doesn't think you can handle.

Good part in all this, don't have to worry about her going off-road for toys for tots or winter fest, not how I wanted it to happen, but we will take a few months off and talk about trying again around March.

Sorry to hear dude...like others have said, its a lot more common than people think. Especially in the first trimester. Doesn't make it any easier, but don't let it discourage you from trying again. My wifes best friends both lost babies, but didn't have any issues the second time around.
