gearbox looks expensive.

The one used is probably way more considering its rated for 200 ish fewer lbft of torque than that motor makes. I would like to see how the diffs and driveline mount up and are routed. Its all expensive....

Handbuilt vehicles make me drool.....

it was a 5 day shoot...that means that motor tranny stood up to that kind of abuse for 5 days. they weren't running it 24-7, but still...thats impressive

He was on ellis yesterday talking about the video.

Every scene was 1 practice run and 1 video run except for the scene around the donut shop. He grenaded the transmission after the first run.

He said they designed the car 2 years ago and the first time he sat in it was the first day they started filming.

I find that hard to believe, some of the scenes in the drainage ditch has 5 or six sets of skid marks.

They were given to us. They are factory seats out of a keystone camper. They are blemishes. Got them for free so they will work for us.

we have about 18" on the ground in the last few days...2-6 feet more possible before the weekend. if you go 30 minutes north of us it starts getting really bad. buffalo is getting pummeled right now
