Time to "practice. " :)

Anyone have the tools and patience to walk a guy through regearing? Have the gears and master kits for my d30 and 8.8 but no press or mic/dial indicator

I think next spring i will be in the market for a 500$ jeep. Between my welder, leftover ugly truck parts, and the bighorns i think a super cheap wheeler may be in order to keep my teeth sharp while i build buggy.

She wants to sell hers so we'll be left rigless. Im going to try to wheel it one last time on new years.

When looking for a motor to completely go thru and rebuild, how much would you all pay for one? Maybe I'm being too cheap at it but I would think that paying $300-400 for a motor is as little high for something I'm gonna tear down and go thru from top to bottom.
