Send the feast this way, I am tired of seeing overpriced junk all over CL. Found an 01 XJ, doesn't run, and NO TITLE and they still want $1000, what is the world coming to?

I read once how the system did this, but I'm not remembering now. My FSM's aren't on this machine, but when I get some down time I'll look through them, and post up for the FYI...

It basically looks at the ignition timing sensors (cam, and crank sensors) to determine whether, or not the crankshaft is where it's supposed to be for the given RPM. It was in the emissions section on mine.

Same here. Salvage titled 98. needs left fender, bumper, front fiberglass with 200+k on the clock, and they wanted $1600. It was supposedly rust free though...
 
my latest buys have beena 98 Limited w/ blown motor n rusty, but great front clip, t-case and good leather interior, a 99 w/ minor front damage but drivable (needs header panel and radiator) and a 99 that has some screwed up issue that is unresolved until I get it home.....all 3 for a total of $1250 thus far....and they are all white, so parts swapping is easy w/ no painting so far. I have a line on another 98 that supposedly has fuel delivery problems....gave the guy $100 to hold until I can get there later this week....

There's nothing around here either. I've been searching for another XJ for a while. Thrown a couple $500 offers out without any bites.

no doubt. I found the sage green color on a unit that was very lightly hit in the hatch, no damage other than hatch n tail light...$1500. Guy wont reply to his listing. It is rust free and an easy fix. Hell, I would fix n keep to DD. i have always wanted a clean one that color that was rust free....mild lift and a clean dd to do mild wheeling...

People realized they are cool jeeps to. in the same seance, i have seen my small neighborhood go from 1 other lifted xj to at least 10 or 12 different ones.
 
Had an offer to sell our house and some property with it, I just checked the assessors site and they have had our info all messed up for what appears to be 5 years. This will be fun to iron out on who is responsible for what...they have part of our property split between 3 people and who knows what taxes have been charged to each....it is going to suck.

Folded my fat ass into the back of the jeep to get the hatch fixed. all done.
 
I had it this winter, Olivia was playing with it. I can't find it. Friend of mine is going to Eagle, CO (!!) on a big game hunting trip and I told him he could borrow it.
