Important

score and break the 4 sides, then trim the corners with jigsaw or hacksaw. Coping saw if you've got tight corners.

Installed a brake controller and 7 way plug on this today.

Plates, car tires, and a trailer hitch. Haven't seen this yet...

If I bought a sxs that would be the first thing I did. If I spend that kind of money I better be able to get ice cream in it!! Couple guys around here have done the same.

Wondering if I have a short in the new xj ...no gauges are working but all the warning lights and the odometer reads fine. They were all working before, though occasionally I would get the no bus warning. The keyless entry stopped working at the same time...I tried to reseat the cluster a few times but they won't budge. Didn't have a ny electronics cleaner at home either.

pencil eraser>cleaner

and the pins probably need tweaked with a pick.

3Rd time driving through the night since Thursday. This time I'm flying solo...having trouble staying awake.

I'm predicting work will suck tomorrow

1. Clean all grounds under the hood, especially battery terminals

2.. Pull cluster out and clean connections on the back, then apply dielectric grease.

3. Report back.

they made people do that with their golf carts around here...register, plates and orange flags n slow moving signs...stupid. I can drive my SxS anywhere I want and on the road b/c it is considered in the state of Missouri as "farm or ag" and not subject to license..again, stupid. I had a slow moving sign on it for a while, but it got torn off at some point. It is truely used 95% for work, 5% play, so it always have fencing supplies, feed bags, a chainsaw or some trash in the back, so if pulled over it is legit for ag use. You can sure as hell get pulled over for an open container in one too, I know personally! I was running our fences and had a beer in the buggy, the damn patrol slowed to see what I was doing and I walked up to him b/c I was way off the right of way and he told me that he could ticket me b/c I had an open in beer in the unit....he had supersonic vision I swear! He was cool and told me to get on my side of the fence and he could not do or say a thing. So I did...and enjoyed another

Cheese "lesson learned" Man

that is correct, but I was on the right of way between the highway and my fence...on "his side" of the fence at that point. I quickly went through the gate and on "my side" of the fence. :D

Dang I want a sxs now. I wonder how easy that is to do in ohio.

Not cheap, besides the 18k sticker price, you're buying DOT approved tires and wheels, windshield, wipers, and blinker system.

We have it pretty good here because you can drive dirt bikes, quads and sxs's on the right of way of secondary roads as long as you have a ORV sticker.

that is pretty nice. Ohio has it in the ORC that you aren't to drive any sort of offroad vehicle on a right of way unless it's between two pieces of private property. There's some sort of distance limitation as well.

it's from bac kin the day before ATVs, so it was squarely aimed at snowmobiles.

Snowmobiles are allowed on ANY right of way besides a federal expressway here. Snowmobiles get alot more in MI than the offroad group.

yeah, but they're a much larger group up your way.

if you own sleds in ohio you may have ridden them for a week in the winter for the last ten years. All the people know with them drive to MI to use them.
