Important

Cut the lawn for the first time with the new mower. 18hp v-twin Briggs.

I cleaned the carb, new plugs, fresh gas. Runs fine but as soon as you engage the pto you can only mow in 2nd due to it bogging the motor down.

I'm going to borrow a compression gauge and see where I'm at

And that's my cool story bro of the day

Pulled the engine from the Waggy apart to see what happened.

Water is knee deep in the street a couple houses down from me, where the sewer is. Had to move the flex so it didn't get flooded, right now the jeep is about axle tube deep.

One of the neighbors called the city and they said all of thier drainage pumps are broken. So it will be a while before the water go's down.

REW'Flash flood warnings don't start for another two hours'STER

lol...well actually yes, just a little drunk last night, but i do get pm's still ;)

i know of a few things that i usually look for, and i really don't plan on making it a regular thing, i just have some free time to kill with the baby in the mornings when i am here so i figured i would strap her in the baby carrier and go for a walk through some of the yards to see what is out there.

even though its a little more labor intensive, i think i'm also going to start cutting and selling fire wood on the side when i don't have anything else to do. my wifes grandparents timber got logged a few years ago and they left an enormous mess up there. i want to start clearing it anyway because i'm hoping they will let us put a cabin up there eventually. right now it would take quite the effort to even get a jeep up there with all the trees that are down. i could probably cut firewood every day for 5 years and still not have a good clearing. again, not something thats going to put food on the table, but it could mean a few extra bucks for hunting gear and jeep stuff. i have plenty to do around the house and on the jeeps when i'm home, but having a good outdoor project that would be a little bit of exercise and also serve a good purpose would be just fine with me

Good morning Sam.
Hope you survived the storms.

Good morning!

I did survive!, I also drained most of the water off the pool top just to have it filled back up:doh:
