Important

this past Saturday i did a bunch of yard work and strained my back. i was to the point where i could hardly walk. rested all day Sunday and felt pretty good going into work yesterday. by the end of the day(i was pretty busy all day) it was throbbing again.

headed to school, i also started feeling funky. some stomach problems and was feeling a little flush. i decided to truck on anyway. we are working on Alan-Bradley powerflex drivepacks and i want to learn them.
10 mins into class and we are told to go into the labs. My partner did not come to class, the labs are a standing area and if tall, you must slightly bend, also forgot my tools and had no way to wire up the drivepacks.

class starts at 5:30

i was in my car heading home by 6:10

may blow off tonight too...

My dog had some nasty stomach issues yesterday too. He got the Easter ham bone and I think it didn't set well with him. I had a pretty Nasty mess to clean up when I got home and he never does that. I kinda felt bad for the dude. He thought he was in so much trouble that he wouldn't even look at me.

Poor pup.

I think Rev does. He was talking to me about them, but I couldn't pull the trigger on $70 pants to get destroyed at work.

Well supposedly they have a lifetime guarantee on them. You can return them at any time if you're not satisfied, and they'll either send you a replacement, or refund your money. My pants get dirty more than anything. really I'm looking for something cooler than jeans. I'll get up with Rev...

My work pants are $70 a piece at least...

On some of the reviews I've read they are on par in quality with the 5.11 pants. Some guys like the 5.11's, and some the Duluth trading.

Are they cheaper than AN and braided? I was just going to buy the fittings and hose and make my own lines

dude. TSC.

take your existing mess there, have them make new ones. They make hoses for tractor hydraulics on site.

As I said the other day I am getting a fifth wheel. The weight of the trailer is 6200 pounds.

I am looking at picking up this hitch. 12.5K, This should be sufficient right?

I am researching online and it is getting a little overwhelming. I don't want to end up buying two hitches.

And I understand that this won't be enough to pull doubles (for those of you who thought of that). I would upgrade to a much better higher capacity hitch before I do that.

Gooseneck if it were me, will work with anything in the future. Rated for more than you'll ever need.

Should be able to buy an adapter for your trailer for goose.

^^^ I said I realize that. This is just an option for a decent price for now to just get the fifth wheel and use it this summer.

I'm not hauling doubles until atleast next year when I can put some money into the trailer and truck.

Didn't know that, I knew you can put a goose on fifth wheel rails but not the other way around. Now I have one more thing to read up on.

mac, still want to meet up for dinner tomorrow? tilted kilt sound good around 6ish?

anyone else want to meet up?

I didn't know that. I'm guessing they don't really advertise this?
big ol sign in mine that says "we make custom hydraulic hoses" right as you walk in the door.

Heres pics and specs. This has all the mounting to bolt into my truck and the guy has been sitting on it. Says he'll take $75 (should be easy to resell).

$75 is no brainer. Buy it, use it, save up for nice 25K one.

Interesting... must be just certain places do it. Pretty sure midland Napa does but doesn't advertise it. The napa guy tried selling us an extra press/collet/pump/etc kit he had for 1200 bucks (good deal) but Jed wasn't interested in having another.

Either way, I don't have to worry about where to get them made, just walk over to the "donut van" lol
