Important

Re: Re: Important

I ran 36" iroks on my Yukoned out 44 and killed stubs like every other trip. Super joints, Yukon inners and stubs, warn premiums, Detroit, 5.13s. Whatever works for you though. 38"s would scare me on a 44 though.

I think we have different styles of wheeling, bro. Our junk would never survive...

I have excessively beat on my junk, jammed it in all sorts of bad places and it survived.....with minimal pennecillin. Wait, are we talking about the same thing?

I think nitro is the only company that makes 30 spline stubs anymore other than RCVs I think 30 spline stubs are a must on 44s.

Nitros warranty sounds good but I've only heard horror stories from vendors and customers about nitros customer service and warranty claims.

Now that Yukon makes 44 30 spline hubs and slugs I bet we will see 30 spline stubs from them soon. Yukon Super Stubs.

Harlan, Uwharrie, Attica on 35's bunch of times. Moab on 37's. 44 front with 5.38's, ARB, Alloy USA shafts (19 spline outers) and CTM joints with no failures other than hubs and I fixed that with drive slugs.

If I was consistently breaking shafts, joints or other axle parts I'd look at what parts I was buying or I'd figure out why my driving style caused those failures. I don't think that 37's or 38's on a 44 necessarily means carnage. I think that how and what you drive plays more into it than the equipment does.

My 35's on steel DIY beadlocks were 105 pounds and my 37's on aluminum racelines are 120 pounds.

Doug isn't so gentle with it either!
