I come home from dress shopping for his sister's wedding to this... Damn I'm a lucky gal!!!

i spent all morning ripping the old subwoofer wiring and light wiring out of the wj...some people should NOT be allowed to touch wiring in a vehicle. got most of it cleaned up, but i cut one of the remote starter wires in the process...its only the auto lock button :(

RV is 55 gallon...a sure plus over the 38 the truck had for the same fuel mileage...

And 50 cents to a dollar a gallon cheaper to fill up...

mac '400+ cruising range' gyvr

Yeah, coming back from Iowa I filled mine every 200 mi.
Diesel is only 30c more here right now.
Might try to find a transfer tank before I leave again.

Any run the old BFG AT style of Treadwrights? They have the correct size for the Expy on sale and I could really use a new set of tires for it. The only ones on sale are the Kedge Grip style. Do those leave bits of crap laying around as they wear?

The stuff they put in the compound is very small. Not microscopic, but not something that you'll be able to see.

I had a set of MT's almost 10 years ago from them and I was impressed. I've heard that the tires with the grip stuff is really nice in the snow and ice.

I ran them on my old 6.5. Great tires, especially for the price. I will probably be ordering another set for the 'new' tow rig once we close on the house and move.

I have a set without the kedge grip and it took a friend of mine a year of wheeling together to realize they weren't real BFG ATs because I requested them on BFG AT carcasses.

They're OK. I've been driving on them since january 2010 and wheeling on them since mid 2010 and they still have around 3/16-1/4" of tread. Not sure how many miles, but I'm not nice to them.

They have gotten a bit of dry rot on the sidewalls but that's to be expected on a retread after 4 years, and it doesn't seem to affect them any..

Oh, and I have done 103 on them. If you are worried about retreads delaminating, you shouldn't be. Modern ones are pretty damn good.

My next tire will probably be their 37" MTR military retreads.

Does anybody know where the vacuum lines for the heater controls are located at inside the Jeep? Thinking we have one that is cracked or something. Having an air leak type whistle in the cab whenever I let off the gas peddle. Don't really know what else it could be but vacuum line.
