Do you run them on the front too? I thought retreads on the front was kinda sketchy???

I just summited a app with the Sheriff's office here. Wish me luck.

Good Luck Sir, I have a cousin that's a dispatcher, it sounds like it can be stressful at times, but I'm sure you'll handle it just fine!

I'm lookin gto run the Es on the 250 that will occasionally haul the Jeep and/or an enclosed trailer around (typically once a month). Wondering if they will make the Es with the B2B (Bead to Bead) upgrade, this seems like a better option if available... Otherwise I'll just buy two for the rear axle and find some used tires around here for the front...

when I bought mine they had a 1/2 off shipping special or something like that. Byron posted it up, so he may know more about their specials. on a 3/4 ton gasser, you will be fine with them on all 4 corners.

Good luck.

I run treadwrights on the front too... they balanced out really nicely when new. One didn't but we determined it to be a rim issue, the rim was wobbling 1/8-1/4 back and forth due to the center being welded in wonky. At that point I didn't care and didn't feel like returning it so I ended up with a couple ounces on that wheel.

I've put a lot of miles on them since, they're worn down to around 3/16-1/4" tread remaining now. Somewhat badly gashed up from wheeling. One has 7oz of weights on it because of a horribly bad balljoint I didn't catch in time causing a funny wear pattern. I have done 103mph on them and didn't have any issues.

I'll probably be buying more when I upgrade the jeep a bit.

I was a dispatcher for four years with two different agencies (1st was 50k population, 2nd was 250k population) before I hired on with the current gig.

Its a good solid job that was usually boring. It had a few moments that got your blood pumping, but its nothing like working the street.

So if trading for a vehicle of equal value...do you pay sales tax when you register it?

Hahaha!

Dispatch and corrections. I already have radio experience from when I did my internship at a local PD that happens to be in the county and dispatch is said to be a difficult job at times so that would be cool. I'm not sure how I'd feel working in the jail but it's a better job than what in doing now.

Good luck, that's a stepping stone to a real cop job! I worked our dispatch for a while, it was fun but can be stressful. I was a Corrections Officer for a year and a half before I got to go to the academy. Most county departments hire their road guys from the jail; you will learn a lot and already know the usual dirtbags when you get on the street. If that's what you want to do, that is.

I get their emails from time to time, anyone can sign up on the website.

Interested in the answer myself, I still need to do the paperwork to register the K2500 :eyes:

Funny thing is...this could be a question that people are asking us...lol

Yes you have to pay sales tax on it. Atleast that is what i have always been told by the dmv. I always put $200 as the purchase price and it only comes out to like $14.

Around here I don't know how you work a trade, but I bet the state wants their pound of flesh even though no one sold anything and no money changed hands.

Personally I'd probably exchange gift forms (at least in mass you can sign a form stating you are giving a vehicle as a gift, just have each person give the other their gift form, no taxes, done) and call it a day. You can only do gift forms like once a year though, or to people with the same last name.

Well when you are talking about trades with stuff worth 40-50k I'd prefer to not pay sales tax on it...

mac 'not even sure how to word it with the bmv' gyvr

Its cold.

Can we call you Farva? :D

Calling is different that visiting...

Ours have been way better in the last 5 years than they have been since I started driving in 1993...
