Important

took the rest of the week off to do work around the house and get ready for winter. mainly took it for a break from traveling.

I am gonna have to reccomend stopping this 'work' stuff and suggest you take a 30-40 min ride west into the kettle moraine area and check this place out http://www.frankiespubgrill.com/nanseastikibar.html they selt a B.L.T. with 1lb of bacon on it. The sandwich fills the whole plate on a homemade bun. And if you feel like stepping it up a notch order a double. Don't bring a lot of friends though. The grill is only big enough to make one at a time and I know from experience how much it sucks watching someone enjoy theirs while you watch..

inside of tire shows no abnormal wear

I need a drop pitman arm for a durango box. Are they all the same as a XJ/ZJ/whateverJ arm?

Far as I know, yes. I am running a stock MJ one on mine, same as the stock XJ one afaik.

WJ ones have some different thing going on but that's neither here nor there. More master splines, people grind em out so they can clock the pitman to any angle they want/put them onto an XJ/durango/etc box at all.

Yes, just use a drop XJ arm.

But... with your 44 you can get more throw using a drop FSJ pitman. They're longer and may help you get a little more turning radius out of your axle.

I remember hearing a drop FSJ arm is about the same height as a normal XJ pitman arm but I'm not 100% sure. I need to do some research on that.

I actually run a YJ arm on my Jeep, if I didn't my TB would not align with the DL...

Currently researching what arm I'll need for the CJ5...

I really wish websites selling parts like that would list them by the radius of the arm and vertical distance from one mounting face to another so you could just search by the rough specs you need instead of relying on tribal knowledge for which ones fit what lift amount and steering design.

I believe a saginaw box has the same output splines on the durango, YJ and XJ box etc. A bronco pitman arm also is a bit longer iirc and gives more throw. I know that is what we used on JR's YJ with his 44 conversion.

I woulda thought these would be better sellers than they are.

I'll look into that. I was going to go with new high steer arms with two holes instead of one to get more turning. I'll probably still do that to use the double shear bracket but a longer arm would be nice.

I have 6 axle mounting options on the Clayton TB axle bracket, so whatever the drag link ends up at I'll just move the TB.

But then Susie Rottencrotch wouldn't be able to look up parts for her 1987 Buick Regal because she's too stupid to do math.

Some places are moving trick or treat hours to Friday because its going to rain this evening.

mac 'when I was a kid...' gyvr

they were talking about that on the radio here. not that they are, but wondering if they will.

i was thinking that i have seen parents take their kids to the mall under normal conditions for trick or treating, why not have that be the rain plan?

every year i dressed as a vampire with a white face, i come home with no make up on.

rain didnt stop me from getting my candy
