This.... We're going to try and stop the gear eating but im afraid the 44 and 8.8 combo might be destined for her jeep. If the 30 and 8.25 last ill try to sell em to fund the new set

This is just crazy, I know alot of you are going to be in or just getting back from MOAB but to those who aren't going this is an event I would seriously consider attending. With the majority of us being parents this should seriously hit home. I am going to put this in the events section also. Please spread this around and let people know.

Taking I70? I'm just east of Columbus off 70. I'm meeting flex in IN on the 4th or 5th and heading to Colby KS then Moab

We are leaving early on the 5th from just south of Indy. we'll probably be a few hours ahead of him but if we can make things work out we may be able to convoy. Might be meeting up with OKB and crew in St.Louis and convoying until he breaks off in CO to pick up his dad.

WF is in Attica, IN at Badlands, yes. Ken drove through a snow storm to come.
 
Next week on Top Gear USA, they are doing some type of challenge and there is a Toyota mini pick up, a Chevy full size van, and a 97-01 red XJ. At some point they modify it (Toyota becomes a sliding top convertible, the van gets a canvas top and the XJ gets it roof put on hinges and cut in half).
 
fully assembled spare d30 shafts are the best thing I ever did. $30 a side at the local yard, pick ones that have decent factory ujoints and bearings, grease and foil-tape the splines, forget about em till they are needed. Even in my "breaking a shaft every other run" days, it took me maybe 10-15min to swap one out on the trail and get moving again. Unless I didn't have one on hand and my balljoints fell out of the axle housing and no one would let me just stuff em back in... :anon:
