Important

Nope I need to buy a class C motor home or a fifth wheel and haul doubles.

The pickup truck camper is just not big enough for 4 people.

We did two couples or two dudes in the truck camper. Was a bit tight, but worked...

mac 'would be hard to go back to one after having my trailer tho' gyvr

Say a guy wanted to swap a AW4/231 out of a 92 XJ into a 95 2WD XJ. Wiring compatible or will it be a cluster?
Should bolt in, you might have to do a little custom wiring to make the 4x4 lamp work, who cares. I believe the trans and everything else should simply plug in however.

I figured he would chime in at some point :D

Sorry, my main panel is torn apart at home and I don't have power as a result. LOL

Whoever thought it was a good idea to put the cps where it is needs kicked in the dick!

I thought yours wasn't that tall... Mine was ~6 when I did the axle swap but has settled quite a bit. Need to redo the lift instead of the pieced together crap I have now.

No, I changed one on my niece's XJ. Mine would have been easier I think.

Why the **** is a stock steering Spacer over 200 bucks?!

Re: Re: Important

2 12 inch wobble extensions and a socket. Would have taken me longer to cut the hole.

This...when the xj started to act up this weekend I bought a 20" and 6" extension because my cps tested faulty...too bad it wasn't the source of my issues. Took me about 20-30 min by myself after I got the front ds off. I just wish I would have had a compression tester with me the first night

So are motive gears junk or are people just afraid of 4.88s in a Dana 44? I have been trying to sell the set I got with my rear axle for 2 months. I listed them on eBay for $50 as a starting bid and they still didn't sell

Probably took me an hour to get the damn CPS out and it was the TPS all along.....I wiffed that one! :shhh:

I've never had a problem with the motive gears i have ran. Thats a good buy at $50 for a set of 4.88 gears.

With practice a CPS even on a hot engine is 5-10 minutes. Done em on the side of the road before. They suck the first time though, or if the bolts are seized...

It is telling you to buy a 6x4" (iirc) piece of 3/16 plate and a foot of 1"x0.25" DOM off onlinemetals and make yourself one. If you have a Durango box, just make the spacer a quarter inch taller overall when you cut the DOM slugs, then you can dump the stacked washers.
