Does the RE1600 track bar fit an LJ?

I found one in my pile of stuff that just needs a heim.

mac 'I think it should?' gyvr

Does the frame side have a tierod end on it? if so it might. I had to cut the mount off my frame and make a new one to convert it over to heims, on the TJ.

Frame side of the track bar? No

I think on the XJ mount I had to drill the hole out to fit the bolt for the heim.

I never liked it because it limited travel with the heim turned sideways. I ended up on the XJ going to a HD mount that turned the heim to vertical.

I haven't really studied the TJ/LJ frame mount yet to know...

Yea you need a new frame side mount for that Track bar. Just like you said. I used to have that Track bar.

Frame side is a cast version of the XJ Mount. Rouch Country makes a nice drop bracket which corrects your track bar angle and converts it to a heim joint mount. Looks a bit hokey at 1st look, but it's sturdy. You just need to drill and sleeve one hole.

Do the back one too (Raises the Mount on the axle) :)

That's what I thought. My 30 disagrees. I guess I could shed a lot of weight and rebuild my 30 with a full case locker and RCVs then cryo treat my ring and pinion. I think I have too much motor or a 30 tho. I think a heathy 4.0 is too much motor for a 30 on 35s tho too.

you cant make an rcv equipped 30 live WITHOUT a full case locker, ask me how i know..... and that is stock 2000 4.0 power.

My original plan for the buggy was an rcv'ed 30 and 8.8 but after seeing all the carnage that subpar components in sam's 30 created i'd have to spend mad $$$ on it. If i have to drop the cash anyway it might as well be bigger shit. Still not going tons because i dont need the weight only running 37's on it but it will pretty much be like tims jeep with no xj body at all. I think it will play nicely anywhere i take it
