Important

I thought this was the "important" thread, not the "I'm a little whiny bitch behind a keyboard and want to fight about grammar" thread.

k "this place is getting stupid" man

Hey now. grammar is important! I learned the difference between your and you're here on the internet's not in school.

Grammar: The difference between knowing your shit and knowing you're shit.

My biggest grammar gear grinder is when people concentrate so intently on making sure something is "So-and-so and I" that they forget about context. "This is a picture of Greg and I at the cabin."

No! If you remove Greg from the statement leaving just yourself, you wouldn't say "This is a picture of I at the cabin." Correctly it would be "This is a picture of Greg and me at the cabin."

No!
Rather be pissed off, than pissed on.

I found an old firehouse built in the 50's for sale in Cincy. Researching buying it and making it a house/shop. Anyone ever look into this before and have advice?

Thanks,

jim
make sure it is asbestos free, then DO IT! That would be awesome.

That would be badass! Then I can come over and play ghost busters!

That would be freaking awesome, make sure you get an Ectomobile.

So instead of tons I'm thinking light weight buggy on a 30 front with 35s. Discuss.....

That's what I thought. My 30 disagrees. I guess I could shed a lot of weight and rebuild my 30 with a full case locker and RCVs then cryo treat my ring and pinion. I think I have too much motor or a 30 tho. I think a heathy 4.0 is too much motor for a 30 on 35s tho too.

With that setup, I was killing balljoints and unit bearings once a year. What are you thinking about for steering? I would think you would break knuckles on a 30 with any sort of hydro assist. What about Yota axles? they seem to handle big tires on Toyotas pretty regularly and are lightweight.

Silas kills his yota axles on 35"s pretty often and he has longfield shafts. It's because he has a 4.3 I think. Yota axles are built for 4 cyl rigs.

I had no issues steering the 35s with the front unlocked this past time out, no assist.....so it will def have a selectable locker in front.

That statement right there just took you from a budget build to an expensive build. Then you'll be saying, if I'm going to do this then I will truss it, and then I will put alloys in it, and then and then and then
