Maxxis trailer tires, any thoughts? I can get my 15" size in load e range.

Red 'permission to use the tax return granted' heep

Can't be any worse than Carlisle, same size printed on tires but are obviously different heights.

I bought the ones for my big trailer from http://www.tires-easy.com/

The single place has mobile home take offs on it that I bought over 1.5 years ago from a place for $40 ea...they are still working good.

speaking of tires, I am thinking I am going to get some TreadWright rough treads on the rear of the new truck..since they are 19.5's they are a viable option. May get different ones for the steer tires though (they are said to be fine to use as steer tires, but I am skeptical on retreads up front of a heavier diesel truck)

Tyler, the new USDA Planting Intentions report is out. You might find it interesting.

Those diamond plate accents = spot the body damage and rust holes! lol

Just like how all the mid 90s dodge trucks I see around here have diamond plate kick panels along the bottoms of the doors.

That is exactly what I was gonna say. Diamond plate rust covers....

Flexy and I are treadwright whores, among others :gee:

We just put a set of 265/70r16 TW guard dog MTR knockoffs on a buddy of mine's YJ, they have done pretty ok so far.

Chinese ones that it came with are done after 3 years and 5000 miles.

The RV guys say maxxis or Goodyear, but the Goodyear don't come in the heavy load ranges in the size I need. I might swap the axles for 5000 instead of the 3500 I have since I can keep the hubs and brakes the same.

Mine are tow masters.... Probably junk too but no complaints here....

Tire rack is selling tow masters now. I did some research and they come from the same plant as all the other chinese tires. They do have e range tires, but I'm leery about the quality control.

The chinese tires all run $115-$120 a tire. The Maxxis are $160 a tire, so I decided that an extra $160 all around was worth the peace of mind.

Speaking of tires....the neon is getting some soon. Picked up a set if 17's in near perfect shape for 150 bucks. Need two tires...possibly 4 and sell two. Not sure if those tires will clear my struts. They came off an srt4 which can clear the tires. Still gonna cost less than a new set of 14"tires.

I Imagine that kinda taste like cherry cough syrup?

i like the apple pie though...

I like mine better but this stuff is good for a quick cheap fix

I ran Treadwrights on my 96 6.5 all the way around with no problems. I know it's not a heavy as a Cummins, but the 6.5 isn't a lightweight either. I ran the BFG AT knockoffs.

Up this morning, paying car insurance (ouch), need to finish putting my jeep together so I can get my cherry picker out so Cameron can finish pulling the motor on his brothers Subie to change the clutch.

I remember when I had that much ambition. :D

I was to bed at 10 last night, gonna drink lots tonight.

I remember when I had that much ambition as well... Think that job did it for me though, and it wasn't even that bad.

Livin' done working for free' 4wheelin
