half way home after spending about 7 hours wrenching on rew jeep i get a call from the wife. she is telling me that there is water spraying out of something all over the basement. i ask from where, she could not tell. i tell her turn the water off, she could not get to the shut off valve because the water was spraying on the light socket and she was scared. still not knowing what the hell is going on i tell her to just wait till i get there. i was about 20 mins away. she kept messing and found out there was a large hole in this water extension thingy. there is a shut off valve right by that so i told her to kill the water.
when i got home (tired and angry) i go in the basement and turn it back on to see for my self. sure enough this thing is spray like a damn fire hose. basement couch is soaked, walls soaked, ceiling soaked, floor has inch of water, light socket is dripping.
so it was just a simple replacement of that extension thing but caused a lot more pain that i didn't want to deal with at that time. finally got cleaned up a little.
then she made me was the dishes.
now i will be drinking vodka and diet mnt. dew until about 3am

Talked to my former landlord yesterday for a couple of minutes. The duplex we used to rent had a problem with the dishwasher, the fill valve failed and flooded the half, and for at least a couple of days. Major damage, uninhabitable for 2 to 3 months.

Just grab a D30 front from the j/y, till you figure out what wrong with yours, plus you will have spare axles.I highly doubt the Jeep will make it to WF this year!

Pull the locker and put the spiders back in if you have to. We can always lead green in the ZJ

damn...sorry aaron...finally opened that axle that my buddy picked up for me. the thought it was a 4.10 axle...but that is not the case
oddly enough, its actually a 3.73 axle. wtf....what am i going to do with that!?
