Important

the Monte Carlo is at home because the headlights are f'd up, so I drove the Grand Am to work. I'm less than 10 miles away from work and I've already seen 3 deer standing on the side of the road. I really don't want to hit a deer with this car too.

Wow, y'all kept your daughters under lock and key while I was there.

I guess I missed out. :anon:

pork asses and beans are smoked, bouncy castle is up, just waiting for everyone to show up for my sons 4yo partay.

BTW bouncy castle should be in consideration for wf, drunk bouncing = epic fun.

picked up a 69 chevy short box yesterday and it was a sale gone bad, turned good, turned mediocre....the truck was running 4 years ago when parked and comes with a long bed parts truck that has a good cab and power steering/brakes etc. Got there, paid the guy and started to load it and just decided to make sure the title matched the truck...it did not! After an hour of that guy contacting the guy he bought it off of 4 years ago, that guy contacting who he bought it of of in the 90's and a few calls to the DMV, we got it all squared up and it was still titled to the original guy and the DMV had screwed up the VIN on the title 2 owners ago (not sure how it ever go plated or registered for the last 2 guys). So they original guy is going on Monday with the guy I bought it from and is going to file for a lost title and it will just go directly to me. Once we got it home after a 3 hour haul, a quick tune up and JR and I were doing posi burn outs! It needs plenty of work, but it is going to be a fun project.

I used to watch that when I was a kid on one of the local tv channels. It was way into re runs when I watched it.

it's still on. My DVR records it from the antenna.

I like this idea, but don't they have a weight limit?

Sighted in the guns with family today. Lets just say at 75 yards my daughter is holding a 5" pattern with her new .243 in the standing position. That was 5 rounds. 75 yards is about the longest shot, here due too how thick the forest is.

Note to self: Do not try to move an old cast iron tub out of a house on a two wheel appliance dolly without checking the flooring first. Dropped myself and the tub through the front porch. Hurt my pride and my arss is all. Very lucky. Tub was being replaced by a friend of mine and needed my help to get it into his trailer.

We walked in the front door and it seemed solid. Tons of dry rot underneath.

Ruger mkII with a single mag for my Walther P22 with four mags and no cash. Should i do it or do it with only two mags and sell two?

This is for rim fire shooting matches. With the ruger, i can get an optic without any major things (just need a rail). With my p22, it takes a special mount with a full upper slide.

Don't know about the Walther, but there's a metric boatload of upgrades & modifications for the Rugers, and their fairly easy to work on.

Mags aren't that hard to come by for the Ruger (okay, they didn't use to be, anyway,) but based on my experience some years ago, I'd stick with the real Ruger mags. The aftermarket mags did not feed well.

Walther + 4 mags does not seem to equal a Ruger + 1 mag to me.

Went To the badlands with Brad and Cardboard today, had a blast. Its nice not having to worry about driving. Brad snapped a shaft on Red but made it up the climb before it busted.

I recommend shopping for man sized handguns.

Check the back of your man card for approved calipers.

I mean even my crippled ass has a real caliber.....:)

If he's interested in rim fire matches, he *CAN'T* use a center fire caliber. And before you say it, rim fire silhouette matches are more fun than a barrel of monkeys, and you'll only go through about a dollar's worth of ammo.
