Important

All this hub assy talk hurts my brain. I charge most customers 1 hour labor to do one. I can do them in 20 minutes, It's all about having the right tools for the job. I have never had one lick me, now saying that I may have one today.

We'll see what the stealership says today, if they still do not find anything I'm towing the junk back to my place to rot.

You would've lost money on this hub if you only charged an hour...

I have all the right tools and have done many and could do one in 20 mins if there is no rust or someone at some point greased/antisleased it the last time things were apart.

This is the first time I've had a bolt seize in the knuckle...let alone two...

Drove the Jeep to work today. Needed to get my man card back after driving the neon. Damn that thing gets good mileage, even with a bad o2 sensor. It sure lookslastara though!

First or second WinterFest that I went to, I had a u-joint go bad. In less than 30 minutes in the parking lot at the Badlands, no power tools, swapped the driver's side axle shaft. It can be done.

I ran the cheaper az hubs on my jeep with 33"s just fine and didn't die once. I'm sure a stock zj doing dd duty will be fine.

I sure am glad you didn't die once. because if you did and you were still around you would be a zombie and we would have to shoot you in the head. :D

as for hubs i didn't use the cheep ones i used the high quality inexpensive parts. at least that's what the guy selling them told me.

The Labor Day weekend Rocks and Valleys accident had the first bills to hit the insurance company.

The second EMS ride from the 1st hospital to the 2nd hospital...88 miles, 2 hour trip...

$1787

Now I am confused, what years did XJ's have unit bearings and what is so special about them? I think I helped my buddy change his once when we put the body lift on his Cherokee.....
