todays trivia...what does the "L.L." In L.L. Cool J stand for??

tick...tick...tick...

Spent the weekend down in Indiana visiting the folks. Took the boy with me. He still does pretty well on the road. Got out with Brad and Molly Friday night. Drank some good beer. Dad made chili for dinner one night and tilapia the other. Good eats.

97 got 21.8 mpg on the way down. Haven't filled back up since getting home yesterday. Meganne was glad to get her boys back.

Maybe...there might be more on that subject once you get your Jeep back. If it's simple, you'll get your verbal abuse.

Yes, I realize I may be giving up my hillbilly-man-card...

But they were going to look at it this morning, and I still haven't heard back... Starting to concern me a little...

Tyler, had to use Google on that one, I'll bow out.

Did my correct answer before get me on that short list for bacon and cheese at WF?

I'd bet on a grounding issue or a wiring harness problem in your jeep Austin.

Newest XJ is 11 years old... and most of em are older. Electronics don't like saltwater and vibration.

They've been looking at it and have confirmed just about everything I have already checked, looks like its staying over night...

good enough...and to be honest, I cant remember if it was off of SWASS or SEMINAR, but both were in the same era.

now, who can tell me the name of Bruce Willis' first solo album??

Cheese "and maybe only album" Man

I had the firing order in correct order, but not the right spots. I was basing it off of the haynes manual diagram, which had the 1 plug wire right next to the screw holding the cap, which I later seen the one on the cap and put the one there (I know simple stuff, but this is the second time in my lifetime I ever had to do it).

I would have, but I was originally just checking the cap for any issues.

So onto the ebay wheel hub units, I am sorta uneasy about buying them, but I guess if they last a year until I can get the Timken units, then it is okay. I am looking at these since it is 60 for the pair.

Once I get the hubs on, I will actually be okay taking it off road again. That is the only reason I haven't gone since WF. I will get the cam position sensor by the end of the month to take care of my CEL. It is sorta nice being able to keep up on stuff on my XJ again. Financially I was in a bad spot before.

So what you're saying is, you're gonna fix your hubs now?

Now I know Mac will replace the cheapie he needs to get the niner going, TH buy good ones and be done with it. Especially if you plan to wheel it. Unit bearings are cake to replace as long as you have an impact. I'd suggest you get with someone that has one.

If your hubs have never been off before do some reading on getting them off...there are lots of tricks but be prepared for them to bring the suck.

when you reinstall slather with lots of antisleeze...

mac 'harder than a trailer hitch' gyvr
