Important

I have well over 5,000 through my Glock 22 .40 I have had one stove pipe and that is it. I shoot different kinds of ammo and it was Winchester white box that did it. Not sure why it happened but maybe had to do with it being 20* out at the time?

P340 code, what is it? Normally I don't even check it since it is an XJ and if there is an XJ that doesn't throw a CEL every once in a while, it is a miracle.

Check your Dist.- Loose mounting, loose cap, gear on shaft jumped a tooth on the camshaft, etc...

My Jeep never throws codes... Unless something is wrong...

The Interwebs are your friends...

Give me a good reason to check my spark plugs also, haven't done that for a couple years (I know, should check them every year).

If you're gonna go through the trouble of checking them just spend the $12 and change them.

Doesn't really have to do with spark plugs, your cam sensor is bad/out of sync somewhere. Only need to pull a plug if you need to line up your #1 at TDC...

My jeeps only throw codes when something is busted...

My 94 rarely throws codes, and when it does, something needs to be fixed.

I bought plugs when i got the jeep in 08

they are still in the garage..

and it only throws codes when something is wrong.

I've changed my spark plugs in my trail jeep before, once.

I've had mine since Dec of 1999...

They have been changed at least once when I bought it back all those years ago...not sure if they have been changed since.

There is usually a cause when the CEL comes on. Its when you figure out the cause and get it fixed. On my 95 its when the speed gets fast enough it comes one. I can't get the speed sensor to pick up in the atlas, I've adjusted it many times and still no worky. It goes off when I restart it and stay under a certain speed. The 96 has one that was related to the NSS being wired around, the OBDII didn't like that. They were on/come on...but I know why.

mac '5.9 has 4 codes spitting out' gyvr

The question is.......how often do you guys change your plugs(Or have the city garage change them...MAC) on your DD's? :D Mine looked good minus the huge gap after 2 1/2 years.

Real trucks don't have spark plugs. them.
True as long as your talking big rigs. If your talking pick-ups watch your mouth, you start a fight in here. You know, the whole Ford, Chevy, Dodge debate. you will add 3 pages of BS of about witch one is better.
