Important

so with all the gun talk today and hearing how bad some you guys have it i decided to hop in my truck and go to cabelas. took all of 6-7 minutes to get there, prolly 3-4 if i didn't throw 25 bucks in the gas tank. on my route i also passed the local gun shop that has an indoor range. that store is in walking distance from home. which with the proper permit you could walk there with your pistol and fire off a box full of ammo.

whats that about Indiana Sammy?

anyway,my buddy that works at cabela's (timmys father inlaw) showed me this gun any one have any shooting time behind one of those? he said it was better than the Springfield i was looking at. and it felt nice in my hand. i kinda feel like TH here but when i get the money i will either buy that or this Springfield

Edit: how do you make the links just words like some people do? thought i knew but it didn't work.

Edit2: fingered it out :D

Thanks guys, I just feel terrible for the kids. Apparently my cousin was in a rough situation and I guess he just couldn't handle it. I'm mad at him for going out like a bitch but what can you do you know. Had dinner with Brad and Molly tonight and on my way home I narrowly missed Bambi but the Cobalt coming the other way hit her square. Turned around to make sure they were ok and went about my way. Then, Somewhere between there and home my drivers headlight stopped working. I got pulled over 5 minutes from home and while he was running my ID I turned them off then back on and it started working again. He let me on my way and was very friendly.

Links worked for me. Rew

Agian. Sorry to hear that Flex. Same cousin that helped you get the car home?

You may check the connector on that headlamp. Ive replaced a lot of melted ones.

I have to say nothing is EASY to carry 9 hours a day, I really want a S&W Air lite. But can't find any gun shops with the higher caliber.

stuff it in my front pocket and go. I forget its there half the time, in fact, its still in my pocket.

Gonna have to research said Ruger, nothing I own just fits into my pocket.

Flex sorry to hear about your loss.

Hmmm, Flex's gun fits in his pocket  Small Gun or Big Pocket? :D

Two firsts for me yesterday:
1st time on the Milwaukee Mile. 1st time in a NASCAR race car.

My GF bought me a Rusty Wallace race experience package last XMAS. Got to use it yesterday. 12 laps with other folks on the track also. After the initial passing practice runs, we were let loose on our own with just a spotter in the other side of the radio.

I have no idea how fast I was going, the car has no speedo, but it was a good time. :D

Then we hit the Cheese Cake Factory afterwards :D :D

Michael I should mention I wear Cargo shorts during the summer. They generally have bigger pockets, I can still tuck it in my waist band and not notice it when It comes time to wear blue jeans again.

Took a look at it, I like Ruger alot, but a 3 inch barrel? I don't know, plus only 7 round mag? Looked more like a girls purse gun. No offense intended.

Flex, I'm thinking you should invest in a carry holster.

That entire pocket/stuff it down the pants thing is for gangsas or for Indiana folks who don't know that the end of their belt goes in a belt loop, not dangling in front of their crotch ;)

Seriously though, I'd be afraid of loosing it. Then you have a gun, registered to you, loose. What if some kid picks it up and shoots their eye (and everything behind it) out with it? You'd feel bad, right? A holster does the job of your piece of mind and if done right, access.

In 9mm, it is a snappy little thing, I was a little sore after I put the first 100 rounds through it.

I'm sorry I carry my guns, I don't pocket my baby pistols, lol

Get a holster before you put a bullet throught your leg.....if I don't have a holster I don't cwrry it

I want to drive a race car on a track, but not a Nascar style.

Don't think I would get that sideways, but these cars have two speeds, go/no go. They run around 1,000 or so pounds and around 1,000 horsepower.

He carries a inside the pocket holster.

Mine are all holstered. I don't carry with one in the chamber. The 357, whole other story, BUT, the trigger pull on it is so heavy, I can't imagine it accidently going off.
